2025-2026 K1 Admission Arrangements 

If your child is born between 1st January 2022 and 31st December 2022 and would like to apply for our 25/26 K1 class, please read the below information for details and fill in an online application form here. 

If you have any difficulties in filling in an online application form, please Download an Application Form English version(25-26 school year) here or you can be obtained in person during the school’s office hours (No maximum number for the distribution of the application form). 

- Admission criteria：

Regarding Whole Day services, we prioritize families which require the services, such as those with working parents or special circumstances.

Applicants must be age appropriate students

The siblings of the applicant who are currently studying at our school will have priority for the consideration of the admission.

The parents or sibling of the applicant who graduated from the school will have priority for the consideration of the admission.

Applicants who live in Hong Kong will have priority for the consideration of the admission.

*Please note that due to the limitation of the vacancy , not all applicants who meet the requirement will be accepted.

- Applications, along with the required documents and a $40 application fee (Cash/ Cheque), can be submitted either in person to the school from Monday to Friday 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. or by postage throughout the year. For applications submission by post, please submit your apllication fee ($40) with a crossed cheque payable to the school. (Payable to : ELCHK Shatin Lutheran Kindergarten)

School Fees & Others

Our school has joined the "Kindergarten Education Scheme".

Below showed our tuition fees and education material fees for the school year 2024-2025 for your reference：

K1 Textbooks (1st semster)  $ 30.4

K1 Supplementary learning materials and books (1st semster)  $ 483.7

A.M. Session：Monthly School Fee $ 0

                         Monthly Snack Fee $ 214 (Breakfast and Snacks included)

Whole day session：Monthly School Fee $ 1,132

                                  Monthly Meal Fee $ 550

                                  (Breakfast, Snacks, Lunch and Afternoon Tea included)

School fee will be paid in 10 installments within the school year.

Admission Arrangements

Interview Arrangements：Interviews will be held on the 1st or 2nd Novemeber, 2024.

Release of admission result：Admission results will be released by post by Early December 2024.

Registration Arrangements： 

1. Successful Applicants：Parents should present the Registration Certificate/Admission Pass (RC/AP) to the school by the centralized registration dates (4 to 6 January 2025) and pay the registration fee accordingly.

           Registration Fee：     A.M. Session $970         

                                              Whole Day Session:$1570

Note: If parents consider to withdraw after registration, parent shall contact the school for returning the Registration Certificate for Kindergarten Admission.

2. For students who are on the waiting list will receive notice from the school by phone when there is vacancy. Parents should present the RC/AP to the school on the assigned date and pay the registration fee accordingly.
3. If parents cannot present the RC/AP to the school by the Centralized Registration Dates, the school may not be able to complete registration for their child. Hence, parents are required to submit application to the EDB within the designated period.

Admission Support for non-Chinese speaking (NCS) students

Our school provides support and translation service, also NCS support teacher for non-Chinese speaking students and parents.

We have teachers received training on the teaching of non-Chinese language students. For more information, parents may contact our hotline for non-Chinese language students at 2604 4832 or e-mail elchk.elchk@yahoo.com.hk for further enquiries.
